A mysterious creature with black and white tentacles washed up on the coast of Western Australia, attracting the attention of beachgoers due to its unusual appearance and coloration.

The discovery was made by an internet user’s mother and girlfriend while they were taking a walk on Broome beach, Western Australia. The user, known as “Horrorwolfe,” posted a photo of the creature on Reddit, seeking information about it.

After conducting a Google search, the user couldn’t find any information about the creature with dozens of black and white tentacles sprouting from its round white body. Instead, the search engine returned results related to children’s coloring books.

Some Reddit members speculated that the creature could be a sea slug or a jellyfish, and the black-and-white appearance on the body might be due to a disease. Others suggested it looked like an alien object or possibly part of an animal’s mouth.

One beachgoer speculated that the creature might be a striped anemone. Many people were cautious about touching it, as anemones can deliver painful venom that can paralyze body parts.

Anemones, often referred to as “flowers of the sea,” are typically found in oceans around the world. They use their tentacles to capture food, including plankton, crabs, and fish. Anemones are closely related to jellyfish and corals, all of which belong to the group Cnidarians.

They are known for clinging to rocks or burrowing into the seabed and can have a lifespan of up to 80 years.
